Today the Vikings ruled San Francisco
Boulder (having lived there through college) is best compared to Sweden. A social democracy with a kick as start up scene. I am psyched to see everything going on such as Boulder Digital Works, Tech Stars, and more. Grap an expresso (or Yerba Matte) at The Cup around 8:30 and you’ll see the daily rush of people sharing ideas. I moved there to keep ski racing during college and stumbled upon a great entrepreneurship program (thanks to Kyle Lefkoff of Boulder Ventures for teaching one of our courses). There is no doubt as the traditional funding model continues to break and transform for early stage ventures that more and more of these environments can get created around the US. Who wants to do one in Truckee? I’m in!

I second this one…
Thanks to @StaceyForeman, I just found the album I will be listening to for the next week straight. The Bird and Bee cover Hall and Oates.
That’s cool…however, I will miss the near misses and all out pandemonium during morning rides as the day moves on and people start driving around hammered.

The late snow makes bears hungry this time of year. Here are some tracks at my rents house unless some dude with size 24 feet was simply walking down the driveway.
Favorite single run I’ve ever watched in Ski Racing. Albertville GS, 3 greats duking it out. Here are their final runs with Tomba going last.

Remember when plastic bottles were against the law? - alexbogusky’s posterous
I enjoyed this post from one of the partners at Crispin Porter Bogusky…although not realistic without re-instating the glass bottle law, I love the $1.50 bottle deposits I pay for Strauss Milk. Even without the law I am more than willing to know I am reducing milk cartons. People who know me will see this as a major contribution based on the 10 gallons of milk I drink each week.
I also liked the point on how our grandparents would look at us today. Ultimately, however tough, responsibility is the only solution to reversing these trends. I hope we get there.
